BATTERY TECHNOLOGY
Horwin's innovative 72V battery ensures maximum range and optimum safety.
- The temperature of the battery is continuously measured, this prevents it from overheating.
- The charger and battery are so matched that the battery is never overcharged. This ensures extra safety and preservation of battery capacity.
- Driving a battery too far down shortens its life considerably. To prevent this, the Horwin's battery system has a built-in safety system. So you can continue to enjoy the maximum battery capacity for longer.
- The battery is removable and can therefore be charged outside the scooter.
- There are batteries with a capacity of 26Ah and 36Ah available.
- As there is space for two batteries under the seat of the SK1, you can expand the battery pack to up to 72Ah.

Engine
The Horwin SK1 is fitted with a powerful hub motor with a maximum power output of 3000W. The motor offers high energy conversion efficiency whilst consuming little power.
Suspension
The Horwin SK1 scooter is fitted with dual hydraulic adjustable shock absorbers at the front and rear. This ensures a comfortable ride whatever the road conditions.
The rear shock absorbers are adjustable and can be set to your preference.
This, combined with the large wheels – 14-inch at the front and rear – makes this the ideal scooter for long distances.
Lighting
The Horwin SK1 is fitted with an intelligent LED headlight. With their bright, white light, they literally cut through the darkness. An automatic delay when switching off the lights illuminates the path to the garage or front door before you dismount.
Daytime running lights
Automatic daytime running lights improve safety – particularly on rainy and foggy days.
Cockpit
The LCD display shows all sorts of driving information; driving data is always available.
