An all-rounder offering excellent value for money. When used seasonally and for frequent short journeys, it is slightly more resistant to a large number of charge cycles than conventional wet batteries, and starts reliably even when not fully charged.

Thanks to Absorbent Glass Mat (AGM) technology, in which the acid is absorbed into a glass fibre mat, these batteries are completely maintenance-free. This means that the battery never needs to be opened once it has been filled. This type is less sensitive to vibrations than a conventional battery; it is also safer and ideal for vehicles used all year round. AGM batteries are dry-charged and supplied with a special acid pack, allowing them to be stored for virtually an indefinite period.

• Shock-resistant. The panels are firmly embedded in the fibreglass mat
• Maintenance-free after the initial filling. Top-up is no longer possible, nor is it necessary, as the well-sealed battery loses virtually no fluid thanks to gas recombination
• Leak-proof. Can also be fitted at an angle (45°). Acid absorbed in fibreglass separators
